Danielle Panabaker as Killer Frost – Fan Art by BossLogic

Check out this amazing fan art by BossLogic of Danielle Panabaker as Killer Frost! She looks dangerous and sexy at the same time!

In case you haven’t been paying attention, Danielle Panabaker plays Caitlin Snow on the hit show The Flash. Caitlin Snow is the secret identity of Killer Frost in DC Comics’ New 52. It’s been strongly hinted in interviews that Panabaker’s character on The Flash will someday become Killer Frost.

When I showed my wife her reaction was, “That’s not a costume, that’s a jacket and jeans!” Perhaps she’s right, but it’s definitely on the right track! I’m not passing judgement until we see the full reveal. Cross your fingers for some puffy sleeves!

I gotta tell you, for me seeing this photo was as exciting as seeing Firestorm fly in the recent episode of The Flash! This gives me hope they are going to do Firestorm justice on the show!

Firestorm on The Flash Post-Game Report — No Spoilers

Firestorm! FIRESTORM! F-I-R-E-S-T-O-R-M!! Just in case someone hasn’t watched last night’s episode of The Flash yet, I’m posting this without spoilers. Since I’m not discussing, we’ll just say the parts you’d expect me to freak out, I did freak out.

Robbie Amell as Firestorn on The Flash mid-season finale

This was such a great episode! The developing plot with the Reverse Flash is gripping. It’s still hard to believe, but Ronnie Raymond (played by Robbie Amell) appeared tonight on The Flash and declared himself, “Firestorm”! (I don’t consider that a spoiler since it was featured in the preview.)  A really powerful mid-season finale!

I thought Robbie Amell did a fantastic job! I really felt bad for Ronnie and the confusion he’s experiencing. Well done, Mr. Amell! Be sure to follow Robbie Amell on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook!

I mentioned this last week, but watching Ronnie Raymond on The Flash has been a somewhat surreal experience for me. I’ve been following Firestorm’s adventures for 30 years, regularly blogging about him for nearly 6 years, and podcasting about him for 3 years. I’ve read the character on the page, watched him in animated form, and held molded plastic versions of the character. However, none of that prepares you for seeing the character in live action. Just, wow.

This version seems significantly different from the comic book version, but I’m okay with the differences. In the comics, Firestorm has had numerous incarnations; the only constant being a state of change. I’m excited to see where this story is leading our favorite Nuclear Man!

Share your thoughts regarding Firestorm’s appearance on The Flash in the comments below! Fair warning, expect SPOILERS in the comments!
