Watch The Flash Tonight & More Info on Legends of Tomorrow

Don’t miss The Flash season finale tonight! We know both Robbie Amell and Victor Garber will guest-star tonight! Not sure if they’ll combine to form Firestorm this episode, but it’s certainly worth tuning in. Also, this is the last confirmed appearance of Robbie Amell as Ronnie Raymond as he’s not listed as part of Legends of Tomorrow. Fingers crossed Robbie makes it through tonight’s episode!

Firestorm on The Flash

Quite a bit more information about DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has been released. Here are a few points I thought you Match-heads might want to know:

  • The series will premiere in January 2016, and will run for 13 episodes. It’s being described as a, “big 13 hour long mega movie“. Given it’s status as a mid-season event, you gotta wonder if The Flash or Arrow will take a 13 week break while this series airs.
  • The new scenes in the Legends of Tomorrow trailer were filmed specifically for the trailer.  They have not filmed a pilot yet, so it’s possible those scenes might not even make it into the final show.
  • During an interview with Screen Rant, Legends of Tomorrow Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim said this when asked about Firestorm, “I will say Victor Garber, who plays Martin Stein, is a part of the spinoff… and we wouldn’t have Martin Stein on the show if there wasn’t going to be some Firestorm.”

Finally, all along I’ve been calling DC’s Legends of Tomorrow by it’s proper name, “Firestorm and his Atomic Friends.” Now Xum Yukinori, friend to the Fire & Water Podcast, has stepped up and produced an appropriate theme song for the new series. My fellow Match-heads, please sing along with the opening theme to, “Firestorm and his Atomic Friends!”

  1. So…this is the “Agent Carter” of the Arrow/Flash-verse? I keep forgetting “mid-season”, and was thinking we’d see this in September or October. Odd that they went ahead and shot this brand new footage. They must be (pardon the pun) hot about this!

If the “new scenes” were filmed specifically for the trailer, and the rest uses existing footage, I am now wondering if the scenes of Reverse Flash in the time sphere (which actually shows an out-of-focus Jay Garrick helmet) falls in the “existing footage” category and we will actually see it in tonight’s episode (since they have not started shooting for Season 2)…

Potential SPOILER for tonight’s The Flash! Do not proceed if you don’t want to know anything…

Robbie Amell on Facebook a few days ago posted a message about The Flash season finale. In the message he wrote, “See you for season 2″! I guess this means we’ll continue to have Ronnie Raymond for a while longer!! He’s not listed as part of “Legends of Tomorrow”, but I guess he’ll be on The Flash! Who knows, maybe he’ll even make guest appearances on “Legends of Tomorrow!”

So Shag, has anyone with “talented pipes” sent you an audio file of them singing the theme?
