Wow, what a great cover. Can’t wait to check this out later today.

This one of those misdirection covers: sadly, nothing this awesome happens in the book. Maybe I miss Grant Morrison’s Doom Patrol, but I was really hoping that the JLI might have to fight a transmuted, anthropomorphic Eiffel Tower.

I do like the international Firestorms, though. They each have more personality than Ronnie. 😉

I thought this was a great issue. A few more answers to old questions, but I feel they add new questions in the mix too. I’m curious to hear the take of the people that frequent this site and podcast as well.

wow, this issue is really what I was waiting for the entire time ive been reading this new series! everything was amazing the writing the art the fact that Jason and Ronnie are off doing their own things and im equally intrigued by both plots! honestly if they book got cancelled the silver lining for the series is this issue, and that’s high praise seeing as EVS just came off the titles interiors!
    5/5 easy

It seems like they really pointed heavily toward Firehawk joining the JLI. I wonder who “Therese” is. It’s a shame they didn’t keep her name Lorraine, which sounds perfectly French.

I am intrigued by Jason and Firehawk merging to form a different kind of Fury. This version was much cooler than ol’ Hulk-On-Fire. Is it called “Wrath”? Or is that just what he/she/it says in its limited vocabulary?

No idea where they’re going with Ronnie and Arkadin. But they do seem to be playing on Jason and Ronnie’s naivitee in different ways. Jason is always over his head. And Ronnie seems to becoming a proselyte of a dangerous man.

I wish I could say I enjoyed the issue (well I can, art wise; it looks gorgeous), but as a brand-new reader I was completely lost. A recap page would have been so helpful.
