I just finished the Podcast and thought you did a great job once again.

I should clarify something: Rob specifcally discussed my prior exchange where I said that he brought the Podcast down from being the “funniest.” While his diss was justified, I did need to correct something. I believe Rob said it would be interesting to see how I would be when I have kids. Well, I actually have five kids — if you weren’t sure, I am the same “PM” that has sent a couple comments via gmail that you have read on previous podcasts.

All that said, maybe Rob is on to something. The kids definitely prefer my wife over me, so maybe I should watch the “you’re stupid and ugly….just kidding!” comments. :) J/K … oh wait, I just did it again.

As always, keep up the great work!

Fantastic job once again guys! I usually listen to it at work to make at least 1 hour of my day bearable and make the other 7 usually soul crushing hours go a little faster. Anyway, I had today off and wanted to wait until I went back to work tomorrow and was chained to my desk to listen to it, but I am weak and had to listen today and I’m glad I did.

Keep up the great work and I swear one day when I’m not so busy I’m going to write you a proper e-mail. Not that you want it, but I’ve been swamped with work the last oh, 6 weeks and have been lax in my promotion of the show on the DC site.

Patrick–Those poor kids! Somebody call Social Services!

Firestorm–Your job sounds terrible. Maybe Shag and I will record a special eight-hour episode and it will fill an entire day for you! I’m sure Shag and I could fill the time…

1- There’s such pained resignation in Shag’s “thanks” for “Topo the Mornin’.”
2- I’m still waiting to like a New 52 book. So far, I’ve read issues of Justice League, Action Comics, Green Lantern Corps, Grifter, Voodoo, Demon Knights, and Legion: Secret Origin without enjoying any of them. The series I currently follow, The Huntress, Stormwatch and Aquaman, all have good art but meh stories. The only book I have a passing interest in from the Second Wave is Worlds’ Finest, but Levitz hasn’t written anything good in years. This month I’ll try Detective Comics and Legion Lost. Wish me luck?
3- Jeez Shag, about a minute into the Firestorm credits, I thought I was listening to NPR.
4-Alvin Rusch would totally sell out like that. “Don’t be stupid son– think of your future!”
5- Jimmy Palmiotti, Justin Gray and Tom Derrenick on New 52 Blue Devil. Just a thought.
6- I usually like Norm Rapmund, but haven’t seen him on Firestorm yet.
7- Holy crap, Shag said “Diabolu” almost exactly right!
8- That EVS letter was definitely interesting. Hopefully the book will be better realized in the second half of the year.
9- It isn’t really fair to pit anybody else’s powers against Superman’s, since all your powers are belong to Supermans. If my choices were, like, the Flash, Spider-Man or Aquaman, I would totally go Aquaman. Of course, I’d take Sub-Mariner over Aquaman, though.

Another great podcast, the listener feedback is almost the best bit though!, that’s not a reflection on you two but I’m am worried about the direction of Firestorm, you’re right I think we were all expecting a different Firestorm – but I think I’m happy keep buying this one to see where they end up.

I might even have to start buying Aquaman as it is sounding pretty good :-0

Soak em down or burn em up!

    Cheers
    Manjit
