The Mego super-heroes line was never anything that I was into as a kid, mostly because I always thought they looked hideous in the ads that were all over the 70’s comics. My brother had the Steve Austin doll with the eye sight, and a Star Trek phaser gun, but the closest I came was a couple of the early Micronauts, which I never realized until today were Mego as well. I know I had Acroyear with the pink metal wing fans, Biotron, and Hydro Copter, which I guess would go for big money if I hadn’t played with them until they broke.. Oh well.

Thanks for another informative episode, Rob.

This episode was awesome!!! I know very little about the Mego figures but have always been fascinated by them, and wish I had a few figures, but man do those things fetch a hefty price on eBay. A Superman Mego that I was watching sold for $130 yesterday!

I would love to hear more about the Mego lines, especially the Pocket Hero figures and Micronauts toylines!

This was a very enjoyable episode that I think I’ll be listening to and re-digesting a couple of times over, I hope there is more Mego goodness in a future episode! I’ll definitely be checking out the Mego Museum site now!
