Check out this gorgeous piece! Pat Broderick recently drew a recreation of his own cover, The Fury of Firestorm The Nuclear Man #1 (1982)! Pat has made some slight changes from the original cover. For example, the original piece featured a typical “atom” image supplied by DC, whereas this new image features Pat’s vision for the atomic symbol. Shaun Clancy is the lucky guy who owns this piece! Color me jealous! Click the image to enlarge.
Below you’ll find the original cover for comparison.
Pat Broderick previously revisited his cover to The Fury of Firestorm The Nuclear Man #4 (1982). Definitely worth checking out!
My thanks to Sean Koury for bringing this beautiful artwork to my attention!

The art is amazing!
I must admit though, that “nucular” drives me crazy.
You’re welcome.
It really is fantastic, isn’t it?
wow!!!
what more can you say?
Very nice, but I prefer the original, atomic blasts and all – it’s so sharp.
Really like Pat’s art, old and/or new. I wish DC would do a Firestorm mini-series and Pat Broderick would do the art. I’d be there in a heartbeat!
