More Firestorm Cubees

A while back we looked at a Firestorm Cubee created by Joshua Wolf.  Today we’re looking at a few more of these adorable, do-it-yourself folks.  They are called Cubees and are made entirely from folded paper; no tape or glue necessary! I haven’t assembled these particular ones yet, but here are the patterns. First up […]

We’ve got a special treat today here at FIRESTORM FAN – a fantastic interview with Firestorm writer, Stuart Moore! Stuart Moore wrote FIRESTORM vol III for 19 issues from 2005 through 2007.  Thanks to the length of his run, Stuart has written Jason Rusch more than any other writer.  Stuart’s run brought dramatic changes for […]

Blackest Night #3 Cover by Ethan Van Sciver Reenacted with Action Figures

See what you can accomplish with too much time and too many action figures? Sometimes I frighten myself… Yes, I took the time to reenact the Blackest Night #3 variant cover by Ethan Van Sciver using action figures.  I’m not sure what possessed me, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. Firestorm Cosplay

As you can imagine, Firestorm is a very difficult costume to cosplay.  Previously, we’ve featured Allen Hansard and Brad West (both from the Superhero Costuming Forum) in their excellent Firestorm cosplay efforts.   We’ve also featured the super-fun 2009 San Diego Comic-Con International Firestorm guy.  Today we’re going to look at a few more I’ve come […]

To identify Dwayne McDuffie simply as a Firestorm writer […]

It’s time for more original Firestorm artwork from our good friend Jon at the Fizzit Firestorm-themed blog!   He happens to own several original Firestorm pages and convention sketches and has been kind enough to allow me to publish scans of them here. Jon’s been a great contributor to FIRESTORM FAN and my thanks go […]

Firestorm, El Hombre Nuclear

¡Firestorm, el hombre nuclear, de los Super Amigos! Our good friend Jon over at the Fizzit Firestorm-themed blog sent scans of these unique Firestorm collectibles. He received the following cards from Argentina.  The majority of these come from the Spanish-language version of Kenner’s Super Powers line, Super Amigos. This first one is a trading card […]

Firestorm in DC Comics Super Heroes and Villains Fandex

Our favorite match-head recently made an appearance in the DC Comics Super Heroes and Villains Fandex! If you like Who’s Who type products, then this is for you. So what’s a Fandex you ask?  A Fandex is actually called “Fandex Family Field Guide”. It is an approximately 10″ long stack of full-color, heavy stock, double-sided, […]

Firestorm Batman: The Brave and the Bold Figure – 2009

Here is the Firestorm action figure that came out in late 2009 from the Batman: The Brave and the Bold line. The figure represents the Jason Rusch/Ronnie Raymond fusion from the Batman: The Brave and the Bold television series.  With the flaming hair, the figure is just over 5 inches tall.  He’s just a little […]
