Shag’s World Tour continues! This time he stops in Columbus, OH to visit with a gaggle of geeks: Little Russell Burbage, Professor Alan Quarterbin, Emily Middleton, Thom Zahler, Michael Bradley, Van Zee, and JC Beirau! Next, it’s off to Kyle Benning’s recording studio for a chat! Then, you’ll hear new bumpers recorded while visiting with Michael Bailey and David Sopko! Finally, we close the show with a brand-new version of our closing theme by Daniel Cynical Adams and Ashton Burge, this time accompanied by The Irredeemable Shag! All together you’ll hear a dozen different Nuclear Subs that were unfortunately stuck hanging out with Shag. Those poor souls.

Um… i do not recall hearing the bumpers or the Michael Bailey and David Sopko segment. Or was this another “detective” test?
Perhaps I misunderstood. Michael Bailey and David Sopko did bumpers for your podcast only, and no other discussion with them was recorded. Is that correct?
I smell a new comic: Podcast Shagg and the Deadly Dozen!
Fun show. I do believe Shagg and another guest rip-off Kyle’s recording modus operandi in an upcoming episode of…something!

When you start talking about the Marvel Transformers comic, you’re playing in MY sandbox! In answer to your query about the switch from a four issue mini-series to an ongoing, they definitely DID make a big deal about it. At the end of issue #4 (which still proclaimed “#4 in a four-issue limited series” on the cover), just as the Autobots seemed on the verge of victory, Shockwave showed up out of nowhere to blast them! The words “NOT the end” appeared in the final caption. The letters page then detailed how, in a couple of months time, issue #5 would appear as the comic moved from a bi-monthly limited series to a monthly ongoing one. Issue #5, of course, had the beautiful and iconic painted cover of Shockwave that you talked about.
