Support Firestorm (in the 21st and 31st century)! Fan the flame!
I think I’m going with Firestorm:The Crankulear Man, myself.
Nice hints that the Matrix is not something you want to screw around with — if we’re lucky maybe that will actually be explored beyond the current fight sequences plotline.
Also interesting that the implication is that the 21st Century Firestorm dies soon from the rest of the League’s perspective (Ron and Jason are both close to 18 and Barry still remembered him as a kid before his remembered death, so that doesn’t leave a lot of years to work with). Best case scenario would be whatever gets Firestorm into the 5 years later storyline with Batman Beyond may look like he died to the rest of the League — or that time can be rewritten.
Regarding the issue as a whole, I’m really hoping that their actual personalities are starting to emerge more (for whatever reason being a delayed reaction in the process). Angry pompous SuperEgoMan gets old really fast.
