I’m surprised you haven’t blogged about the doom-like spoilery plot details related to Flamehead in Brightest Day. Very strange things going on with Firestorm and Aquaman and I’m not sure where they’re going with it.
I can’t believe I spent the money on this variant cover, but Firestorm is sooo worth it! Looks like black lantern firestorm is a third part of the firestorm matrix, can’t wait to see what happens next issue!!

DCU’s blog the Source has posted the covers for Brightest Day #3. I think if you look close, you’ll notice that Firestorm’s head has been re-colored to fix the inverted red/yellow design that originally showed when the cover came out a while ago.

Yeah, for some reason I only noticed the corrected Firestorm coloring, but after a close comparison, well, it’s not even close. The re-colored is fantastic. Everyone looks better, especially Arthur, Mera and Firestorm.
