The addition of the 'old school' white collar on the imprisoned Mera is sheer genius! Love that little flourish.

As for Firestorm, I think Byte is basically an 80's version of Livewire, electric, jumping into devices and wall sockets, etc.

As for Belle Haney and the Prof, I bet she is a wild woman. Maybe she is Zany Haney. And why was Professor Stein talking about hard drives so much? Oh yeah, it was a computer fair.

Enjoyable show, gentlemen. I made the mistake of listening while finishing up this week’s “The Line It Is Drawn” submission. The whole "Terror-Byte" bit nearly made me use up my last eraser…

If I may be allowed to be a little nitpicky, Shag, William Katt's "Greatest American Hero" character was renamed Mr. Hanley for a short time, and not Mr. Hinckle. What I found hilarious was the episode, “Here’s Looking at You, Kid”, the first episode that removed the Hinckley name by essentially deleting it from the audio. There was one scene where Pam Davidson picked up her visiting parents at the airport, and the mother is raving about the sound of her fiancé’s last name, which was drowned out by a loud airplane noise every time she said it (and it was quite a number). I do not think it was possible to land that many planes so fast -- even at LAX…

And to be further nitpicky: no In Stock Trades recommendations this week? I trust this was a minor lapse and not the end of “a word from your sponsor”...

Thank you for the additional Steam Award, gentlemen. I only did this so Rob would not go through life without seeing a 250th issue of Aquaman ( though I am sure he will see one for real one day). Rob, I am sorry to hear that the current Aquaman title is not bringing as much joy to you as you would like. Maybe when we enter the upcoming era of "DC Ooh!"...

More award-winning Ace Kilroy? I am so there!

I just noticed the red on the cover of Aquaman #43 is actually Mera's (or is that Siren's) hair. I had assumed it was representing the blood of the battle, but you can see the outline of her face and hand. Nice design!

Shagg raises an interesting point, which in and of itself is frightening. Since Mera is in her old school white collar and no sleeves look, how long has she been captured. If Bunn retcons that all of the Mera we've seen in the New 52 was actually siren, I think Rob's head will explode.

Didn't Aquaman release the Kraken in the first Super Powers mini-series? I think it was the same issue where he squealed like a bee-yotch when savage Superman got a hold of him.

As for Firestorm CAL-lasic, this issues sounds more Spider-Man-like with usual, with Firestorm royally screwing up, trying to do the right thing. Any particular reason someone didn't hand Cliff Carmichael his ass at some point in this series? I knew I could say ass in the comments, because potty-mouth Rob dropped the F-bomb in the show.

I think we'll see Firehawk on Flash/LOT at some point. CW is just looking for an excuse to cast another attractive young female. It's the CW, c'mon Shagg. Their casting director is your psychic twin: "She's hot".
