This episode takes me back. I was given the version of the "Time Stealers" record with the Motion Picture photo cover from my late comic collecting uncle, who admitted that he originally ordered it for himself from Westfield Comics because he expected it to have the Neal Adams cover (because the original Adams cover was featured in the solicitation). Regardless, I enjoyed it immensely. A few years later I found the Neal Adams cover version of this record at a thrift shoppe and, after making a color Xerox of the cover for myself, sent it to my uncle as a gift. He was very happy to have it, despite the tatters. It is now part of the treasured comics collection my uncle left for me when he died the other year.

Not much else to say beyond what you gentlemen covered... except, to my ears, I believe the same actor voiced both Kirk and Spock, and he was the same actor who voiced Metamorpho (Me-ta-mor-pho!) in the "Fumo the Fire Giant" recording. I wonder if there is a way to find out for sure...

Yes that is Paul Kupperberg in the latest Star Trek Fumetti comic from Byrne. I'm glad to see that they're still buds! Kupperberg was the only editor Byrne wanted to work with when he came back to DC in the mid to late 90's to work on the New Gods/Jack Kirby 4th World books and the Wonder Woman series. I think Byrne's list of creators that he likes to work with is pretty much limited to Paul, Jerry Ordway, Roger Stern, Frank Miller, and Mike Mignola. I like to think of him as the Namor of the comic book industry. (He's still my favorite comic book artist of all time)

These were both really fun adventures! They definitely nailed that classic Trek feeling. I really liked Spock and Kirk's voices on this, I feel like the voice actors really nailed the verbal ticks and aesthetic of Shatner's and Nimoy's voices. Yikes that Renderer voice was like nails on the chalkboard. I'd rather listen to Manbat's shrieks on a continuous hour long loop before hearing another line spoke by The Renderer.

"ME?!? ME!?! DID YOU REALLY THINK YOU COULD TRICK ME WITH A FEEBLE LIE?!?!?!"

The Space Conan Adventure was awesome!!! I really need to track this down and find the comic! I bet the artwork is glorious. Maybe Valiant's X-O Manowar's premise has its origin here, that character's whole schtick is essentially Conan in Space!

Both of these adventures were loads of fun, another winner guys! I'm going to have to add this one to my list of Power Records to track down.

Great episode! Drop the needle and turn the page!

Great stinger, I love that episode of the Simpson when Homer is the monorail man!
