I generally liked the voice acting here, especially the narrator, which made it frustrating that sound effects/music so completely overwhelmed the vocals during the destruction of Moon Base Peace that I gave up on comprehending that segment. Handy that the music from 2001: A Space Odyssey was in the public domain. I was bummed that there was no interior art on the tumblr on an occasion where I went straight for that link. Also sorry that they maintained and even worsened the pipsqueak voice for the Atom begun in his 1960s cartoons. I could handle the high pitch, but he should sound like an action hero sped up to 45 rpm, not some Riverdale punk. Also, in the comics of modern vintage, the Mighty Mite doesn't appear to need to breathe while shrinking, so the gas wouldn't have worked. That Red Tornado voice was the worst. Glad everyone i care about got a spotlight action moment. Of course Atom would be the one to shut down the giant saw blade. Also cool to recall the days when Batman wasn't infallible and it really might become a job for Superman (with strategically place pseudo-theme.) Why does Wonder Woman sound like Sally Kellerman?

Great Instock Trades pick! I love both Ross Andru and Rick Buckler's art, I need to track these picks down, I'm going to have to add these to my Christmas list.

This thing is awesome! I have to try to track this down! DC has put out some awesome Hardover children's books over the years. Yesterday a local baby/infant/toddler store was hosting a food drive/picture with Santa for the kids event. So we took a big ol bag of canned food items and outr 6 month old son to get his picture with Santa (he loved it by the way) to the store. When were browsing the store to buy a few things, I noticed they had some awesome DC kids' books! There were:

1) Super Heroes Book of Opposites:
http://www.amazon.com/Super-Heroes-Book-Opposites-DC/dp/1935703765

2) My First Superman Book
http://www.amazon.com/My-First-Superman-Book-Heroes/dp/1935703005

3) My First Batman Book
http://www.amazon.com/My-First-Batman-Book-Heroes/dp/1935703013/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_y

4) My First Wonder Woman Book
http://www.amazon.com/My-First-Wonder-Woman-Book/dp/1935703137/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1415637029&sr=1-1&keywords=my+first+wonder+woman+book

Of course the DC Book of Opposites and My First Superman Book were must haves, so picked those both up for Christmas presents for the little guy. I see that there is a ABC 123 Book and a Shapes and Colors Book as well, we're going to have to get those for his 1 year Birthday.

A fun little listen and a great fill-in episode in a time crunch! Fan the Flame and Ride the Wave!
