Conflict is, of course, the center of good drama, and the fact of Firestorms dual-personality has always been a good source of such conflict. I find, however, that the sheer animosity and hatred Ronnie and Jason have demonstrated for each other… not just in these issues, but to a greater or lesser extent ever since the New 52 started (or, really, even since Brightest Day, although I felt there was good reason there) has simply gotten old. This is not a version of the character I care to keep reading about.

I’m glad you’re all enjoying it, as much as I enjoy doing it to you!

And I really did mean it when I said it’s not that bad if you read it like it’s an out of continuity Elseworlds/What If? type story.

Plus with all the Terminator, Back To The Future, Doctor Who, Star Trek allusions this is like reading the comic book equivalent of the movie “Paul”

I agree with Anj in that I will greatly appreciate Futures End coverage here. I am reading the series, and will enjoy getting Tim’s perspective on this book.

I like Firestorm’s costume design in this series–not as much as the classic puffy or Reis-tweaked Brightest Day version, but this probably comes in third for Firestorm costumes.
