Wow, thanks for posting this! I just heard you and Rob talking about this on your Who’s Who podcast and it sparked a very old memory. This show may have been my introduction to superhero comics and shaped my whole childhood from there.

They also read The New Teen Titans circa 1980-1981. How do I know this? Two friends of mine, Tenshi (she was born to hippie parents) and Liz, told me so. The classic Green Lantern story where he flies into a sign was read as well.

I watched this show when it was on. All of the comics that were read, were from 60’s early 70’s DC comics such as, The Flash, Green Lantern, Swamp Thing, Adam Strange, some character named I think ultra (?), Sugar and Spike and random pulp sci fi stories. I do not recall anything stories with Firestorm.
