Great episode, guys! This is a topic I know next to nothing about, so it was fun to hear Rob and Mike talk about these old stories. Nice synergy with reading Hey Kids! Comics!

I can see Mike screaming "Yes!" when finding his lost issue of All-Star Squadron. Haha!

As an aside, like my take on George Tuska, I like Don Heck. BUT! Like Tuska, I like Don Heck pretty much just for his work on Iron Man. I think that both of them were not well suited to more "straight up" superheroic books such as Heck's work on Avengers or Tuska's turns on Justice League of America; however, they both did a good job handling Iron Man, his female associates, his fleet of cars, the rough and ugly faces of his international and domestic foes, and the technology.

Another great episode! Awesome hearing Mr. Bailey on the show, even if there was no Shag. Rob was entertaining as usual, and i could really hear your love for Aquaman coming out in this episode. :)

Two Rob Kelly & Michael Bailey team-ups in 2 weeks! What a treat! And about the Earth-2 & the All-Star Squadron nonetheless! I've been recently listening to that great Tales of the JSA podcast Mike did with Scott Gardner.

I am curious why Roy went to such great lengths at this point to (re) establish that Aquaman did exist on Earth 2, despite what was established during the JSA's revival in All-Star Comics in the 70's, only to not include him in the America vs. the JSA mini-series that he did a year later. It seems like Aquaman should have been included in Batman's diary at some point in his tale recounting those early days of the JSA and all of the heroes roles and participation (or lack there of) in aiding Hitler during WW II.

Great episode guys, anytime you guys want to spend an episode talking about the happenings of Earth 2 and all books tied to it, count me in!
