I am somewhat relieved to learn that this won’t be the *same* Deathstorm as from Blackest Night/Brightest Day (not sure if New52 leaves that possible, so much as it seems like they could do that if they wanted to, and I *don’t* want them to).

I don’t think Deathstorm as a ’90s commentary would do any good now, seeing as the New 52 redesigns pretty much look like Image characters now anyway…
