Finally Im not alone... Thanks Sean, I was starting to think I was some sort of a Bizzarro version of a Star Wars fan for liking the prequels...

Then again, I also have fond memories of Superman IV aswell, you know the one with the "almost" live action version of Firestorm... And you cant say it wasnt Shagg... His name was the Nuclear Man after all!

See I found a loophole Shagg, so you cant take away my Match Head Card.

Keith, I liked the prequels. I don't understand the hatred towards them. Personally, the Phantom Menace needed some work, but the other two, IMO, were fine movies. Especially Revenge of the Sith.

I chalk it up to people being older, and expecting to capture the same feeling the original movies gave them as kids, and being unable to get that feeling.

My kids love them, so that's what's important.

Yes. You are the only one who likes the prequels. Although, I thought Episode III was kinda fun, horrid dialogue and "NOOOOOOOOOOO" aside.

Vibe is getting his own book. I just... I don't even know anymore.

Geoff Johns' run on Hawkman is my all-time favorite run on the character. I wish with all that is within me that they had kept that continuity in the new 52. Oh well, can't win 'em all.

@Frank - Time for one quick follow-up comment...

I am SOOO Pierce Brosnan. Not a fan of Roger Moore myself. Comparing me to Roger Moore is really going to help your chances of a reappearance on the show. ;)

Thanks!

1. I enjoy the simplicity of the official podcast header too much to desire a replacement, but if it goes that way, Keith Samra's done a damned fine job of it.

2. I adored Star Wars as a kid, dutifully watched each prequel feature once at the theater, and now have no interest in the franchise. 100% behind Rob on Brad Bird directing, as opposed to "stylists." Save that for hairdressing, because in my experience, the more distinct the style, the more grounded it because in a specific place and time while turning ever more tiresome. Chris Nolan would be terrible on Star Wars, where Jon Favreau would be discrete perfection.

3. I saw the parts of Star Trek: The Motion Picture that I could stay awake for at the theater, on broadcast television, and on DVD. I have never in any of those attempts made it through more than a quarter or so without passing out, as recently as a couple of years ago. There's no better sleep aid in my experience. At least I'm still a passive fan of this franchise, having enjoyed the recent movie and some of the TV series, most especially DS9.

4. Cyborg can have an ugly ass KIA. Martian Manhunter got a Ford race car a few years back.

5. I never get invited by Newsarama or Comic Book Resources to write anything. Maybe I shouldn't refer to comic creators and their work with f-bombs, c-spray, and dirty pictures of people's mothers?

6. When are you guys going to have Luke on? He's got major podcasting experience and a Hawkman book to talk about for another few months. Best hurry up!

7. Actually, there was no Luke in the Ghosts crossover. Sorry, Luke. I'm glad I chided Chad into getting Ragman in there, though. Anyway, I tried to stay on Rob's model in doctoring my Johnny-Come-Lately characters into the crossover graphic. It worked pretty well with Chuck Patton's Vixen, but the proportions on the Gibbons Creeper and Dillon Atom were all wonky. Should'a made Ray small and stuck him on somebody's shoulder. I still need to finish reading everybody's blog posts, plus the Black Canary blog.

8. I like how it took the both of you to run down a list of my blogs, even if Rob couldn't get the names right, and the red-headed stepchild ...nurgh... sulked from its lonely playground hobby seahorse. Anyhow, I suppose Rob's "cheerleading" has elevated my appearance on the show from David Niven to George Lazenby, but I suspect Shag is correct in assuming that a repeat would just assure everyone that Timothy Dalton is out of my reach. Mostly though, I'd like to hear Robb fight with Shagg over whether he gets to be Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan or Danial Craig. Shag is obviously Roger Moore.

9. Second Siskoid on preferring the Hawks as a couple more than the individual components. Aquaman doesn't need Mera, but Katar really does require Shayera to work, in my book.

10. Shag is a bigger Vibe booster than me, but I did write an essay on his book's announcement, and can see the point. I'd still prefer The Vixen: Lady Fox, but it'll do.

11. DC Challenge Podcast? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe? Is it safe?

Thanks for all the comments!

@Keith - Congrats on your Steam Award! It's as tangible as steam itself. :) You enjoyed the Star Wars prequels that much? Maybe they are better upside-down (you are on the bottom half of the world after all).

@Luke - Thanks for being such a great sport! LOL! Dangnabit!

@Siskoid & @Luke - My personal favorite incarnation of Hawkman was the James Robinson/Geoff Johns version. It had lots of back story, but they cleansed much of the more complex items. They stuck with the reincarnation as the primary continuity point, without contradicting any of the other continuity. Well done. Shame that series quickly spiraled downwards once Johns left.

@Sean - EU FTW! Give me Jana, Jacen, Ben, Mara, Corran, Thrawn, Pellaeon, and Fey'lya!

Finally... Siskoid called Luke "Frank"! Priceless! :)
