Ahem. If someone were paying “attention to detail,” she’d be wearing her Flight Ring on her right hand, not her left. (Yes, I’m that guy.)

Most excellent job on the interview. Both Shag & Rob should be proud of it. Thank you for entertaining me during my 90,000mi truck service.

Now that I’ve listened to the podcast, let me refer you guys (and Jurgens) to this cosplayer. He’s been around for awhile, and I’ve seen pics of him as recently as NYCC 2012. His Skeets isn’t just flying on a wire, it also talks.

    Very Good Interview….

I’m still cautiously optimistic, but more excited since Stormy’s new series in a long while…

I’d love to have been in that meeting w/ Jurgens, Didio, and the editors…on the topic of “fix it.”

  5. Keith Samra says:

Very Kool interview guys. Thank you Shagg and Robb!

  6. Luke says:

    Great interview, guys!

I really liked Dan’s story about meeting Mike Grell and getting his foot in the door on Warlord because of it. That’s awesome!

I also liked Dan’s theory about bringing a character back to their roots insofar as “what purpose were they supposed to serve” when they were created. I’m a sucker for “back to basics” sort of superheroics and Dan Jurgens has always been good at that.

Here’s hoping that the new direction of Firestorm lives up to its promise.

Great interview, guys. And now I’m all caught up. Listened to all 33 episodes.

    …..

    …..

Now what the hell am I supposed to do?

  8. Keith Samra says:

@Sean Koury… Listen to the episodes again bro!…

  9. Sean Koury says:

    @Keith. Yeeeah…I don’t think I like the show THAT much. 😉

Seriously though, I’ve been listening to LanternCast to kill the time until the F&W. It’s pretty good, too, although at 100+ eps, I think I’ll be picking and choosing the ones I listen to, or I’ll never get caught up.

  10. Chewie says:

This was fantastic. I have always loved Dan Jurgens. He has always stricken me as one of those fantastic journeymen of comics. Wherever he travels there is good work left in his wake. Really enjoyed listening to you guys talk to him.

  11. Keith Samra says:

@ Sean Koury. Blasphemy!!! hahaha… Though I have listened to the Super Powers: Part 1 episode 2 1/2 times… Still anticipating part 2 of that 2 part special we were promised!

You should try Views from the Longbox bro. Thats an awesome one also!
