Great blog! Its cool to see love for ol' Matchead!! :)

Im looking forward to Ronnie being in Blackest Night! I know Geoff, and trust that he'll do Ronnie justice. Im really looking forward to Geoffs ideas for him. I like rumblings about Firestorm!

And about Jamal Igle....I concur, he is a very nice guy who is easy to approach at cons. He did a cool Martian Manhunter sketch for me a few years back that I love.

Yeah, I saw a link up at El Jacone's Comic Book Bunker, and added it to the Idol-Head's blogroll that same day. I'll get around to adding it to the Detroit blog as well, but I work under the assumption no one reads that one but me and Luke. I'll also throw up a Firestorm-related post at Diabolu when I think up an angle. I like the Nuclear Man, and am glad to see you're spreading the love across all incarnations.

Have you checked out Valerie D'Orozio's blog mentioning the Mike Carey aborted revamp, replaced by Jolley/Jason Rusch?

"7. Multiple-Personality Firestorm
The original concept of the Firestorm reboot, as conceived by then-writer Mike Carey, involved the character having several voices in his head/"personalities," including (I believe) that of a robot & a cat. Newcomer Lewis LaRosa was to pencil, and I saw concept sketches. One editorial shift later, and the proposal & creative team was history."

Luke - I completely agree. Here is to hoping the JLA will always have a match-head in it!

Ravenface - I love that Booster sketch! Too funny!

Joel - I'm certainly not opposed to including links to fan fiction, however, I'd rather not post any slash-fiction. I actually used to read a little Firestorm fan fiction myself during the lean years. Go ahead and e-mail me a link to your Fan Fiction site. Once I collect a few Fan Fiction links, I'll try and do a post for them.

My thanks to everyone for stopping by!

A new Firestorm site. Interesting. I have a question. Will you be posting any kind of fan-fic or links? I know Firestorm stories are probably few and far between, but I used to write for a site (sort of 'Ultimate DC') where I wrote 13 'issues' of a Raymond/Stein series. Otherwise, I'll poke my head in to see what's up. I don't run across to many Firestorm fans.

Great post and a well-designed blog! Fan the flame indeed!

Wanted to chime in in reference to the Jamal Igle links. I've had the opportunity to meet him at a few signings, and he's incredibly nice. So, if you're a Firestorm Fan fearful to approach him at a con, fear not. Once, he did an hilarious sketch for me of Booster Gold (do he and Firestorm have any connection at all?) rising from the dead.

Looking forward to any and all information on how the Suicide Squad became a graveyard for Firestorm villains.

I see no reason why Firestorm shouldn't at least be on the Justice League. The character has history with the League, he stands out in a crowd, he adds some diversity, and his powers are unique and very useful -- like when he defeated Killer Frost by turning some stuff into anti-freeze.
